Chef Thompson was a participant on Season 3 of the reality TV show Top Chef - originally shown on US television starting June 2007. She was also a contestant in Season 8, Top Chef All-Stars and Chef Thompson also returned as a participant in Season 14 of Top Chef (Charleston, SC) - shown originally on US Bravo television starting December 2016.
