  • The Princeville Resort closed September 2008 to prepare for conversion to the St. Regis which opened April 2009.
  • In December 2018 the hotel was acquired by Starwood Capital Group and the name St. Regis was dropped. The name reverted to Princeville Resort which closed on May 1, 2020 for renovations in anticipation of opening in 2022 as 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay.
