  • A fire on the evening of March 16, 2015 forced closure "until further notice" of the Avenue Road store. Reopened November 2016.
  • The Bayview store is in Bayview Village, the Yonge food hall is in Saks in the CF Eaton Centre.
  • The 899 College site in Little Italy was scheduled to open in 2024. Did not open.

  • In 1963 Salvatore Pusateri (1925-2019) and his wife Rosaria Pusateri (1925-2019) opened a modest fruit and vegetable business on St. Clair Avenue W. in Toronto. Son Cosimo took over the business in 1986, the year Pusateri's was established on Avenue Road.
