Alain Ducasse is founder and principal owner of the Alain Ducasse Group.
In 1999, Alain founded Le centre de formation d'Alain Ducasse ("ADF"), a culinary training centre in Argenteuil, a suburb of Paris.
When Ducasse was born, his parents owned a farm near the town of Dax (France), with their primary source of income being the production of foie gras.
