You can call me Jo.
I was trained at the C.I.A.. Cooked my way across the country. Landed in the Bay area. Was a line-cook, bread baker, pastry chef, caterer, hostess, sommelier, manager, and teacher. I garnered 3-stars at my Pacific Heights’ restaurant: The Meetinghouse, a top 50 spot in Gourmet, and a huge fan base in SF.

Now I consult & advise; recruit & train, manage people, and simplify operations. I develop new concepts, write menus & recipes, open restaurants & cafes, cater special events, and love what I do.
I’m told that it shows.
I am currently building a not-for-profit. The mission is to give a leg up to folks with new food concepts or dreams of their own restaurants. A huge commercial kitchen and a café, small retail section, private dining room that can be a full-time “try” for real-life practice or for pop-ups and perhaps a wine bar for budding winemakers to strut their stuff. Yes… I am looking for benefactors, donors, promoters & supporters……
