Gautreau's has had three chefs win Food & Wine magazine's Best New Chefs award: Larkin Selman (1993), Mat Wolfe (2004) and Sue Zemanick (2008). The only other restaurant to have had 3 winning chefs is the now closed Trio in Chicago.
