The Oak Room The Plaza 768 5th Avenue New York, New York Tel: 212.758.7777 Website	Originally opened in 1907; reopened fall 2008. The Plaza is currently owned by Elad Properties and Kingdom Holdings, and since 1999 has been managed by Fairmont Hotels. Closed temporarily February 28, 2009 to March 17, 2009 for a re-tuning. In April 2011 the proprietors of the Oak Room informed Elad they would be vacating their lease at the end of July 2011.
