Drifters Wife [1] 63 Washington Avenue Portland, Maine	In January 2015 the Hales opened a wine store, Maine & Loire, at this site. In September 2015 a modest eatery was added and the name became Drifters Wife. To accommodate the need for more space Drifters Wife [1] closed at the end of 2017 and moved to a larger location next door (Drifters Wife [2]) in February 2018.
